We live in Aurora near Quincy and Reservoir. A Townsend Solitaire has visited
our yard every day since March 6 perching in a pine tree and drinking from the
bird bath. Steve and Jean Stevenson

New area bird for me, the eye ring was distinctive and it had the usual
flycatcher habit of moving short distances from the creek bed back and forth to
various shrubs. I always thought they were foothills only but apparently they
wander during the winter and migration.
