Our first mountain bluebirds of the season! Many have undoubtedly seen
some, but we haven't yet. Little Horseshoe Park in Rocky Mountain NP,
about 4:00 PM on March 14. Skies partly cloudy, temperature about 50
degrees F. We observed at least 2 pairs. They were eating something on
the ground, we assumed grubs or ground-dwelling insects.
