Just read Christian's posting and want to say how saddened I am by this news. I had many conversations with Jeff about birds and birding, mostly at Walden Ponds looking upon Cottonwood marsh. Yes, he was filled with enthusiasm and he shared his joy of birding with one and all. Carl in Niwot
