John Breitsch found a Rose-breasted Grosbeak at the junction of two trails
where First Creek crosses Buckley Road. It has been in the lower trees south of
the creek and west of Buckley Road, posing for photographers for several days.
It is sitting on the county line between Adams and Denver counties. Parking lot
is on 56th avenue, and at 8am there were a pair of Loggerhead Shrikes sitting
on Praire Dog mounds there. Also a nest of a Great Horned Owl with owlets is by
Pena Blvd.
