We were saddened to learn that Jackie King, long term DFO member, trip leader and Ptarmigan Awardee is quite ill and after a long struggle is now receiving "comfort care only." She expressed the wish that birders be notified. I visited her this morning and left a card on behalf of her birding friends. She is sleeping comfortably.
