I visited Prewitt this morning. Did not find the previously reported
Buff-breasted Sandpiper or Red Knot. However, Baird’s were still present along
with a few Leasts, at least 3 Pectoral Sandpipers and a Long-billed Curlew.
Franklin’s Gulls were in abundance.

On the drive home, I stopped by the Kaempfer (aka Morgan County) playas.

At CO71 and MCR JJ there was water and shore. There were few shorebirds: 3
Baird’s, 5 Least and 1 Spotted Sandpiper.

At MCR 26 between CR JJ and II there was water but little shore. No shorebirds.

At MCR 23 and CR HH there was some water with alkaline shore and no shorebirds.
