Hi all -
A Red-necked Grebe was present with many Western Grebes in the middle of
Cherry Creek Reservoir. Also, a female Long-tailed Duck was in with a flock
of Common Goldeneyes near Lake Loop. It flew off to Pelican Point. Also of
note was a continueing late Blue-winged Teal at Prairie Loop, some
Red-breasted Mergansers, a Horned Grebe, about 20 Bonaparte's Gulls, a
Common Loon, two Loon species (too far to ID), and a Harlan's Hawk. I hoped
to see a Scoter, but no luck. Any tips on finding scoters?
