Greetings, everybody. Please join Colorado Field Ornithologists for the more-or-less annual Great Boulder Caper, Friday, Nov. 23, commencing at 7:30 a.m. in the Cottonwood Marsh parking area of Walden Ponds, off 75th Street. We'll caper around the Walden/Sawhill complex for a couple hours, then head north to Longmont & environs, assiduously avoiding eye contact with Weld & Larimer counties. This is a daylong caper, but, after the manner of Huckleberry Finn, you may come and go at your own free will. Bring leftovers; bring good cheer; bring binoculars if you want to. All are welcome--children & youth, novices & newcomers, and general curiosity-seekers especially so. As always, we expect a strong showing from the Colorado Springs mafia.
Leaders are Luke Pheneger, Carl Bendorf, and Yours Truly. If Luke gets a Boulder County year bird, drinks are on Tracy; blueberry ginger kombucha, if I'm not mistaken. No need to RSVP, just show up. We're looking forward to capering with you on Black Friday! Ted Floyd Lafayette, Boulder County -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
