As an out-of-stater, who visits Colorado several times a year, I really value the listserv reports, even when I don't have a trip to Colorado pending. They really help me keep track of what's going on. When I am in Colorado, the reports can help me find good birds when I am in the right place. I also try to post interesting sightings when I am fortunate enough to have them. The listserv helps me feel like part of the community of Colorado birders, even when I'm not there. And when I am lucky enough to meet local birders, I often recognize their names from the reports, and it is nice to put faces with names. Jim NelsonBethesda, Maryland
