COBIRDS going away was never even under consideration.  The only item that
was being discussed as possibly going away was the daily Rare Bird Alert
that is one of the many posts on COBIRDS each day, due to the wonderful
long-term volunteer for it retiring from the task.  Other volunteers have
stepped up and so it will continue too.
