For us Facebook holdouts there is eBird's Rare Bird Alert. eBird.org -> Explore -> Alerts -> type in Colorado or any other state you are visiting, then tap the " view " button, then bookmark. And you have a rare bird alert at the touch of a bookmark, no sign in, password, or giving up you personal data. Tap the "date" at the header to get the newest posts at the top. Although this does not give you the conversations of Cobirds.
