Thanks to Michael for finding the Pink-footed Goose at this lovely reservoir, and thanks to the birders who kept eyes on him/her. What a treat! The goose took off close to sunset with thousands of white cheeked (looked like mostly Cackling) geese who flushed when a juvenile bald eagle flew over, but it looked like the flock might settle back on the reservoir. That reservoir is a treasure.
