There were around 30 birders enjoying beautiful weather and lots of birds on South Platte Reservoir this morning on the south east side. The west side is frozen. The female Black Scoter continues and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM the 6 Trumpter Swans were present. We also had all 3 mergansers along with over 100 Ring-neck Ducks and around 50 Buffelheads. Very good light early in morning. Photos on the list.
https://ebird.org/view/checklist/S51337456 The juvenile Tundra Swan is continuing at Blackrock Lake, which is the very small lake just north of 470 and west of the South Platte River. No luck on the dippers and Harris Sparrow. Gregg Goodrich Highlands Ranch -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
