Word gets around in the birding world, so I was amused when my parents, wintering at Port Aransas TX, reported meeting some birders who had recently spent time in Colorado and talked about seeing "several" Pink-footed Geese and "hundreds" of Barnacle Geese. As far as I can tell, the discussions on this list have been talking about repeated sightings of *one* of each species. So I am curious if anyone has seen larger numbers of either goose, or if these sightings got magnified in the re-telling. There are lies, damn lies, and bird lists....
