We viewed, took photos and recorded the pair of American Dippers from the
bike path under the Mineral Avenue bridge over the South Platte River
today. The pair were actively feeding and diving and singing while we
watched for about 20 minutes. They put on quite a show. Here is our eBird
checklist with photos and a recording.

We also had a Ruby-crowned Kinglet on the east side of the river just south
of the same bridge.

We have also had 2 competing male Song Sparrows trying to claim territory
in our backyard the last 3 days. And I heard the Spotted Towhee singing for
the first time this morning. Is spring really in the air already?
