Greetings, all,

Today around 12:10 a FOS Broad-tailed Hummingbird flew into my yard - which
is about a mile east of downtown Colorado Springs. As the westside usually
garners most of the hummer activity, it was exciting to see a male with a
bright red gorget wondering where my feeder was.

In addition, a Common Grackle was seen in the Kissing Camels subdivision at
1:00.

Time to get the hummer feeders up!

Good birding,

Linda Hodges
Colorado Springs
