Hi all

Exciting news! New yard bird #135.

The bad news was last year there was a fire on our 35 acres (burned about
10 or so acres). Source unknown but I have my suspicions :-)

The good news is I predicted (last year) we'd see Long-billed Curlew or
Mountain Plover as a yard bird. That prediction just came true for one
species--my wife just called and photoed and videoed 3 Long-billed Curlew
in our burn scar. Yay!

Thanks, Gary Lefko, Nunn
