Neotropic Cormorant (*Jefferson)

Red-necked Grebe (Arapahoe)
Glaucous-winged Gull (*Kiowa, *Larimer)
Anna’s Hummingbird (*Mesa)
Black Phoebe (Jefferson)

Fox Sparrow (Slate-colored) (Boulder, Jefferson)
Sagebrush Sparrow (Jefferson)
White-winged Crossbill (Summit)

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
—-On April 9 a Red-necked Grebe was reported at Aurora Reservoir by David
Suddjian.

BOULDER COUNTY:

—-On April 9 a Fox Sparrow (Slate-colored) was reported at Skunk Canyon
Trails by Dave Donnell.


JEFFERSON COUNTY:

—-On April 13 a Neotropic Cormorant was reported at Robert A Easten
Regional Park First reported by David Suddjian and James McCall on the 12th.

—-On April 11 a Neotropic Cormorant was reported at Belmar Park by Ben
Bezuidenhout.

—-On April 10 a Sagebrush Sparrow was reported at Bear Creek Lake Park by
Chris Wood.
—-On April 8 a Black Phoebe was reported at Arvada Blunn Reservoir by
Lorraine Lanning. First seen on April 7.
—-On April 7 a Fox Sparrow (Slate-colored) was reported at Reynolds Ranch
Count Park by Chris Wood. It was along drainage on Oxen Draw trail, about
200m above Elkhorn Trail cutoff. This subspecies breeds in our mountains,
but is rarely seen in migration.

KIOWA COUNTY:
—-On April 13 a Glaucous-winged Gull was reported at Upper
Queens/Neeskah Reservoir
by Tony Leukering.

LARIMER COUNTY:
—-On April 13 a Glaucous-winged Gull was reported at Horseshoe Reservoir by
Andy Bankert.

MESA COUNTY:
—-On April 13 an Anna’s Hummingbird was reported in Grand Junction by Carol
Ortenzio.

SUMMIT COUNTY:
—-On April 7 a  White-winged Crossbill was reported at Blue River Trail,
River Crossing by David Tonnessen.
