Hi Everyone, This morning 4/23, I visited Lagerman Reservoir in Longmont. It's a different place every day. Shorebirds included stilts, avocets, killdeer, both yellowlegs (mostly Lesser), and Least, Western, and Semipalmated Sandpipers. Several of us witnessed the sudden arrival of over 200 Franklin's Gulls. First, we heard their cries, then it rained gulls for several minutes. Two Loggerhead Shrikes were on fenceposts. They are unusual in Longmont. Mark Miller Longmont, CO Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone
