Jessica Vance and I got away from school for a bit today (Thursday, 4/25 around 12:45-1:00 pm) to run across the street in Gunbarrel (NE Boulder) to catch a glimpse of the Pacific Wren. We were looking at the adult owls in the pine tree behind the owl nest and when Jessica spotted the wren flitting around in the wood pile in the stream below. The wren was too busy for us to digiscope a photo. It was not singing, just foraging. It is basically in the same spot as described in the RBA. It was in and out of view the whole time, so patience is a real virtue.
