Hey, everybody.

The "Lafayette Birds!" initiative gets underway for another year with the 
first city-sponsored bird walk of 2019 this coming Sun., May 5. We will 
meet at the observation deck at Greenlee Preserve in Lafayette, eastern 
Boulder County, at 1:00 pm. All are welcome--families, youth, and general 
curiosity-seekers especially so.

Here's the official announcement:

*Sunday, May 5, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m**. **“Lafayette birds!” An ongoing 
birdwatching opportunity for beginning birders (families & adults) **at 
Greenlee Wildlife Preserve - *Beginning birders are invited to experience 
the fun and discovery of birdwatching, *1-3 p.m. on the first Sunday of 
each Month, **May–November. *To reach Greenlee Wildlife Preserve, park at 
the east parking lot for Waneka Lake (where Emma St. ends at Caria Dr. in 
Lafayette) and walk 1/3 mile around the N.E. side of the Waneka Lake trail. No 
RSVP required; drop in at any time.
