Mist and Rain kept the station closed on 5/2/19 but today was a beautiful 
spring day for banding. It was additionally our busiest day so far. We 
added 3 new species for the year. In total we banded 33 birds of 13 
species: 

Ruby-crowned Kinglet: 5
Wilson's Warbler: 1
House Wren: 4
Chipping Sparrow: 1
Common Yellowthroat: 1
Yellow Warbler: 1
Orange-crowned Warbler: 2
Lincoln's Sparrow: 4
Spotted Towhee:5
Gray Catbird: 1
Bullock's Oriole: 6
Blue Jay: 1
Hermit Thrush: 1 


We are open 6 days a week (closed Sundays), weather permitting. This week 
we'll be opening nets around 6:20 and closing around 11:20.
