May 7-9th 

While the weather has been challenging for banding this week, getting 
rained/snowed out on the 7th and 9th. We were able to get a mostly full day 
in on May 8th, closing an hour early due to high winds. We banded a total 
of 23 birds of 13 species: 

Ruby-crowned Kinglet: 2
Dusky Flycatcher: 4
Yellow-rumped "Myrtle" Warbler: 2
Yellow-rumped "Audubon's" Warbler: 1
Lincoln's Sparrow: 4
"Gambel's" White-crowned Sparrow: 2
Swainson's Thrush: 2
Western Tanager:1
Yellow-breasted Chat: 1
House Finch: 1
Bullock's Oriole: 4
Spotted Towhee: 1
American Robin: 1

We are open 6 days a week (closed Sundays), weather permitting. This week 
we'll be opening nets around 6:20 and closing around 11:20.
