After an intense lightning storm and a bit of hail last night, there were lots of new visitors at Crow Valley Campground near Briggsdale. Highlights included *Magnolia Warbler, Macgillvrays warbler, lazuli bunting, black-headed grosbeak, orchard oriole a*nd close to a dozen* yellow-breasted chat. * All the regulars were still around, including western kingbirds, bullocks orioles, brown thrashers, and swainsons thrushes.
Yesterday there were a couple of female *American redstarts* hanging around — I didn’t see them this morning.
