Urling and I scoped a probable Little Blue Heron at Noon, at the Walker Pit just west of Franktown. Karen Metz had seen a similar (same, probably) bird at McClain Pit around 9 a.m. and per her suggestion we checked out both pits. We never got a decent view of the bird's legs, so can't attest to that. However it stood stock still while two Snowy Egrets few around the pond (also, of course, at the far end). Hugh
