We started banding at Ridgway on Tuesday, and it's been pretty steady with 22 birds on Tuesday, 28 birds on Wednesday, and 26 birds on Thursday. We have opened at 0630 every day, but unfortunately the sun has caused us to close early as well, usually around 1130. So far we have 76 birds of 24 species. Notably, Wilson's Warblers, who were the most abundantly banded bird last season, are so far being overtaken by Yellow Warblers. Banding totals for the past three days are as follows:
