I saw it, with another birder, at 9am from the south side of Sand Creek down a short trail from Alton and 37th. I posted on ebird. It was sunning itself and preening in a leafless tree (with red bark) on the island in the creek. I had almost given up after searching for 45 min. The heavy equipment at the bridge perhaps prompted it to move west.
