Hi Everyone, I spent this morning 9/27 walking around Crow Valley Campground. Montane migrants were moving through: Hermit Thrush, solitaires, Red-breasted Nuthatch, both kinglets, four species of warblers. Raptors were also moving: a Sharp-shinned Hawk and a Broad-winged Hawk, both immatures. The broad-wing was perched in the cottonwoods near the group picnic shelter. It was vocalizing, so I got a recording of it with my phone using SoundSleuth. It was unable to identify the sound, of course, but it gave me a decent recording and a spectrograph. Wish I could turn up the gain a few dB.Mark Miller Longmont, CO Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active, an AT&T 5G Evolution capable smartphone
