The Surf and Black Scoters continue this morning in the middle of the South Platte Reservoir. They stayed very close to each other and dove together most of the time. The Surf is a juvenile I guess since it has a white belly and Sibley says all juvenile Scoters have white bellies. The Black is either a juvenile or female because of the big white patch on the face.
