Thanks, everyone, for the feedback (privately). I'm leaning toward either 
taking my students to the Platte in downtown Denver to do the genuine urban 
nature walk: mallard, pigeon, starling? Or we'll stay local to DU. It 
doesn't sound like Cherry Creek will be a great fit for us.
