On Dec 12 I had a young male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker at the north end of
Willow Creek Park in Lamar (Prowers). The bird was in the southernmost pine of
those in the northwestern part of the park just inside the park along Parkview
Street. Fresh sap wells indicate it is probably spending time in several pines
surrounding the outhouse building at that north end of the park. This general
area has a sapsucker most winters.

I also had a sapsucker, probably an adult male, out in pines in the nw corner
of City Park Nine golf course just s of Grandview Cem in Fort Collins (Larimer)
on Dec 9. This is probably the same individual seen in early November within
the cemetery.
