I was unsuccessful in my Gyrfalcon search today as well. However, for birders that are coming to Fort Collins for the falcon, the male Yellow-bellied Sapsucker is still continuing in Grandview Cemetery. I saw him today in the pines bordering the the golf course in the south west corner of the cemetery.
