Hi all

First, *rescheduling this Saturday's Pawnee National Grassland-East CBC*
because of upcoming snowstorm, New Raymer-area is looking at 3-6 inches and
blizzard-like winds. We will conduct the *Pawnee National Grassland-East
CBC Thursday, January 2nd*, meet 0830 at the cafe in New Raymer (south side
of Hwy 14).

The Nunn CBC had a large turnout of people, and the greatest weather EVER!
... unfortunately birds were historically low in numbers with species close
to normal.

Highlights were:

   - We found two Rough-legged Hawk ;-)
   - Common Raven - 28 (record!) most found at a cow carcass, competing
   with a Golden Eagle
   - Lapland Longspur - 6
   - Ring-necked Pheasant - 1 (rare for this count)
   - Beating the averages: Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, Rock Pigeon,
Eurasian-collared Dove, Northern Flicker, American Kestrel, Black-billed
Magpie, American Crow, European Starling, Dark-eyed Junco, and Western
   Meadowlark

Thanks Gary Lefko, Nunn
