Today I scouted for the upcoming Loveland CBC which will be held Wed, Jan 1, 2020.
Highlights included: 3 Red-breasted Mergansers at Horseshoe Lake 1 Marsh Wren at Thompson School District Bldg Dry Creek Reservoir (no ice) hosted a good variety of waterfowl and gulls including Thayer’s and Lesser Black-backed Gulls. A female Great-tailed Grackle joined the Blackbird roost just west of Cattail Pond at dusk. I could not relocate Gyrfalcon or Bohemian Waxwings.
