If anyone needs a Long-tailed Duck for Adams County, I saw one today (Tues) at hotspot "South Platte River (Adams Co)--Dahlia Rd West Pond". There are several areas on both sides of Dahlia Road to view ponds, but most of the areas were iced over, or largely iced over. Hopefully the duck will stay. There were some Common Mergansers and Buffleheads and Common Goldeneyes too. Susan Rosine Brighton
