On this morning's DFO trip to Stearn's Lake, we saw a male yellow-headed blackbird with a large group of red-winged blackbirds. The flock was initially in the trees by the house/pond across the road from Stearn's Lake, and eventually flew to the southeast. It was a nice surprise for January!
Also of note were two ferruginous hawks, a snow goose, and what I think was a snow x cackling goose.
