Folks, CFO’s Field Trip online signup page is now live, at https://Cobirds.org/CFO/FieldTrips. Our winter trip will spend two nights at Julesburg CO. Volunteer leaders Nick Komar and Sue Riffe will guide us on a search for winter specialty species such as Snow Goose, Snow Bunting and Snowy Owl (no promises), and GULLS. On Saturday morning Feb 22, we will attend a gull identification field workshop co-led by Nick (for CFO) and Joel Jorgensen (for Nebraska Ornithological Union) at Lake Ogallala, below the Lake McConaughey dam in Nebraska. Other birding destinations during the 3 day trip will include Jumbo Reservoir, Red Lion SWA, Prewitt Reservoir, Sterling Reservoir SP, Jackson Lake SP, Tamarack Ranch SWA. Seats are limited.
