A hatch year *Northern Shrike* just made a long anticipated visit to my front yard area near Massey Draw in Ken Caryl Valley, perching for a short time in an aspen before moving on. Northern Shrike is rare at Ken Caryl Valley (I have 7 sightings in 6 years here), Both shrikes are on the yard list now.
