I took a quick trip out to Milavec in Frederick this morning and was
treated to about 6 pairs of Common Goldeneyes fishing and displaying for
one another. Half of the lake is still frozen, but on the far side, there
were about 200 Northern Shovelers, a pair of Buffleheads, about 100 geese,
and 2 pairs of Canvasbacks. Great light, perfect reflections on the
Goldeneyes.
