What a nice surprise I had today. I saw a flock of birds in my backyard, and I started to count them. Once I got my binocs on them I could tell they were Cedar Waxwings. I saw no Bohemian Waxwings in the group. As I counted to number 46 ,the Cedars, left for the north. I am guessing there was at least a total of 64 in this whole flock.
The Great-horned Owl male has been hooting in my backyard. The female nests nearby. Happy Birding!
