Yesterday afternoon in the snow just west of the Chatfield horse stables there was a herd of about 70 elk. 3 Magpies were working the elk for ticks. Got a few photos on the list. Fun to see them walk all over the elk and the elk were fine with it. Also, photos of a Vesper Sparrow.
