A good assortment of birds can be seen at Home Lake SWA, which is open for 
birding and fishing. In the last few days, a good variety of waterbirds are 
present. All in Rio Grande County. 

60 Am White Pelicans
Great Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs
LB Dowitcher
Wilsons Snipe
Least Sandpiper
Am Avocet
1 Snow Goose
Westrn and Eared Grebe

Osprey
WF Ibis
Franklins Gull
 Am Peregrine Falcon (off and on)

It should be noted that the Veteran's Center at Home Lake is closed to 
birders during this critical time so no walking among those areas. It is 
clearly marked off limits. 

>From Alamosa Area, Wood Duck pair was seen in wetlands on South River Road.
