I've been reading all the posts about the Cassin's sightings this week but thought I was too far east to get in on the show. And then I saw Loch Kilpatrick's post saying he had them in Parker. So I got up and exclaimed "I'm going to see one!" As soon as I looked out at our feeder I saw one sitting in the adjacent lilac bush and then another one flew in and joined him! They both dropped onto the snow covered ground and searched for seed under the feeder.
