Hey COBirders. Just had our FOY adult male Audubon’s Yellow-rumped Warbler in the yard for a few seconds. VERY BRIGHT. I’m psyched!
While watching bighorns on the “Scar”, with snowy Pikes Peak in the background, a distant Cooper’s Hawk flew into view, then immediately two more buzzed through the yard. I assume they are migrants, finally catching some thermals as it heats up here (good heat waves looking at the scar, too). Probably they were piled-up here yesterday with the lousy weather to the North.
