Due to the Corvid-19 crisis Chico Basin Ranch is closed to the public through 2020 except for members of the birding , fishing or hunting clubs . Members pay an annual fee .Former club members were invited first and all memberships are now full. Current club members will follow stringent guidelines to minimize risk to ranch personnel and ranch operations.These include , virtual sign in and out , vehicle member decal stickers , staying completely clear of the HQ complex or near any homes , no guests , wearing of gloves to open gates , ensure that only members are on site , no rest room facilities. These arrangements were developed by Ranchlands management to safely open up the facilities in a controlled manner to a small number of visitors in order to protect and minimizing the risk of bringing in the coronavirus or be part of spreading it.
