At 10:00 AM this morning I viewed a possible Rufous Hummingbird on the Ute Indian trail (1/2 mile west of the Manitou Incline). It moved around a bit so I got a clear view of it's throat which was clearly Rufous or orange. According to ebird Rufous have been sited in Colorado this early but not in El Paso county until mid June. I was in a mountain meadow at the time at 7500 feet. Chris Brobin Manitou Springs, CO
