Amazing day in SE CO (Baca, Bent, Kiowa, Prowers Counties). 20 species of
warbler found today, and a total of 23 species of warblers in these
counties since Monday (4 May). CBRC review species today: Mourning Warbler
and Cape May Warbler in Bent County. Other goodies: Blue-winged (Baca),
Hooded (Prowers), Worm-eating and Black-throated Blue (Kiowa). Tennessee,
Nashville, N Parula, Blackpoll, Black-and-white, American Redstarts,
Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush were all seen. Other stuff today two
White-eyed Vireos, Red-eyed Vireo, two Painted Buntings, 3 Gray-cheeked
Thrush, 2 Great Crested Flycatcher, Summer Tanager. Likely I'm forgetting
things of note. Check ebird reports for locations.

Good birding,
