There was a Black-necked Stilt at Big Johnson Reservoir this afternoon (Sunday) that could be easily seen from the west unpaved area (where all of the birders seem to be) parking lot in the shallows next to the south shore. I have only seen this bird in Galveston previously but I guess they are not that rare for Colorado.
