Hi all, Today around noon my brother and I observed a stunning male Magnolia Warbler in a flock of Yellow-rumpeds about 20 yards east of N 35th Ave at Poudre Ponds. Further down the trail (closer to N 25th Ave), there were two male Blackpoll Warblers along the river plus a female Summer Tanager. Also at Poudre Ponds were at least three lingering Cackling Geese and a Caspian Tern.
Other interesting birds of note included a small flock of Short-billed Dowitchers (ID'd by flight call) and three White-rumped Sandpipers at the Weld CR 59 wetlands.
