Hi All,
Yesterday Ric Olson and I hit a few spots in NE CO. Of Interest we had an Alder
Flycatcher and two Blackpoll Warblers at the Ovid woods in Sedgwick cnty. We
had a White-rumped Sandpiper at Jumbo Res in the Sedgwick cnty portion. We also
had 16 Dickcissels in a field along Sedgwick cnty rd 19 NE of Sedgwick. These
were singing birds so there were probably quite a few more!
Interestingly, only the Alder Flycatcher shows up in ebird alerts. I know
people are interested in some of the other species we saw. While not really
rare, it is nice to have one place to go to get the best information about bird
sightings in Colorado! Much thanks to the RBA compilers!
